PANews reported on April 10 that according to CoinDesk, Bitcoin Layer-2 developer Alpen Labs announced that it had ended its stealth mode after completing a $10.6 million financing. The company has been committed to developing Bitcoin Rollup infrastructure over the past year, aiming to introduce smart contract functions to the network. This round of financing was led by Ribbit Capital, with Castle Island Ventures, Robot Ventures and Axiom Capital also participating in the investment. Alpen Labs uses zero-knowledge proof technology to expand the Bitcoin blockchain, which allows data to be transmitted securely and quickly between parties, increasing transaction speed and reducing costs through the Rollup network.
