South Korean Prime Minister Han Deok-soo announced on May 17 that cryptocurrencies should be included in the property register of senior officials.
It is understood that the Congressional Affairs Bureau requires investors to state whether they own cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin when declaring their assets this year.
It was previously reported that the Justice Party of South Korea advocated an investigation into the current status of virtual asset holdings of all members of the National Assembly, and submitted a consent letter from six members of its membership to provide personal information to the National Rights Commission.
