PANews reported on March 13 that according to the official blog, the Ethereum Layer 2 network Metis will undergo an important upgrade starting at 6:00 on March 14, Beijing time, to decentralize its sequencer. The upgrade process will require a temporary shutdown of the network. Once the upgrade is complete, the network will quickly resume operations.
