According to TechFlow, the founder of a cryptocurrency mixing service called Bitcoin Fog has been found guilty in a federal court in Washington for helping launder tens of millions of dollars from a dark web market known for selling illegal drugs.

A jury concluded Tuesday that Roman Sterlingov, 35, provided a service that obfuscated digital tokens, making it harder to trace the source of proceeds from illegal activity. The government alleged Bitcoin Fog processed more than $400 million in untraceable transactions, including some from illegal markets.
