The developers of the BNB Chain blockchain ecosystem released a report in which they presented a “comprehensive brand history” and plans for 2024, according to a press release obtained by ForkLog.
In the document “BNB Chain and Plans for Web3,” the team talked about the birth of BSC in September 2020 and the path to becoming one of the largest tier 1 ecosystems.
The report also describes two other community-governed blockchains: the L2 solution opBNB and the decentralized storage network Greenfield.
Among the latest achievements in the project were recalled:
BSC reached a throughput of 2000 TPS and processed 32 million transactions per day;
in opBNB the number of transactions in 2023 was 71 million at 4500 TPS;
The ecosystem has significantly improved security, reducing losses associated with hacking and fraud by 85%.
