“Navalny became ill during a walk. Arriving doctors confirmed death,” the statement says.
It states that all necessary resuscitation measures were taken, but did not yield positive results. Emergency doctors confirmed the death of the convict. The causes of death are being established, the Federal Penitentiary Service indicated.
Navalny was 47 years old.
