Market Maker Wintermute and media platform The Block have partnered to launch a digital asset index company called GMCI. GMCI introduced the GCMI 30 index, which tracks the market performance of the top 30 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization.

Assets included in the index must be listed on a selected centralized exchange and supported by a selected fiduciary.
