In December, we hosted the largest Proof of Community event in India, and hosted our first community event in Rwanda, strengthening our presence in Africa. We completed 300#POCevents across 10 countries, maintained over 16k nodes in our network consistently, and achieved many more milestones!

Sphinx Validator & Sphinx Dapp
In December, we released Sphinx Validator version 1.8.2, which addresses bug fixes and improves network stability.
Since the latest launch, the Shardeum network has consistently offered over 16k nodes!
Ongoing and upcoming features for the Mainnet launch include Validator node data archiving verification, Perf testing, DAO features, Validator node chunking, Patents, and open sourcing the Shardeum Explorer code.

Shardeum — BornToBuild Campaign
The year ended with the launch of the Born to Build#ShardHatcampaign, demonstrating Shardeum's commitment to empowering talent and innovation. Over 2,000#ShardHatswere distributed to passionate creators who participated in the Hackathon and attended our Proof Of Community event during India Blockchain Week.

Community, Growth & Attractiveness
The Shardeum community is growing quickly, reaching countries like the United States, Singapore, Rwanda, Nigeria, South Korea, and Vietnam!
With over 850K community members across Discord, Twitter (or X), Telegram, and Reddit, we are one of the fastest growing test networks in the world.
Shardeum hosted India's largest#ProofOfCommunityevent in Bangalore during India Blockchain Week, with an incredible turnout of over 450 enthusiastic builders! We have an incredible lineup of investors, founders, and builders!
To date, we have completed the milestone of hosting over 300 Proof of Community events, with a total of over 18,000 participants, across 10 countries!
In December alone, we successfully hosted 15 events across 11 cities in India, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Korea and Vietnam!

We also saw an increase in the number of participants by 6% since November.
Community is the CEO of Shardeum. Our community has helped us a lot in testing the network and expanding our ecosystem. That's why we host engaging workshops for first-time web3 founders to build a strong community and early followers.

Shardeum Initiative
▸1. Unlimited Shardeum — We have launched an initiative to stimulate Web3 growth beyond the English-speaking population. Community members can publish blogs and videos in any language on popular media platforms about Shardeum.
To date, we have received over 1000 blog and video submissions from contributors in over 47 countries in over 36 languages. In December alone, 265 guest blogs and videos were submitted by the community!
Under this initiative, Shardeum's white paper was translated into 10 languages by community members in 11 countries in November. These languages include Spanish, Indonesian, German, Persian, French, Ukrainian and more!
▸2. Shardeum League is a community-run group that spreads awareness about Shardeum throughout the world and shares the vision of decentralization for everyone. This month, we are happy to announce that we have crossed 65+ leagues!

▸1. Shardeum Dapp Boilerplate — A ready-to-use integrated solution for developers to jump right into easy-to-configure boilerplate code & repos to get started.

Ecosystem, Partnership & Collaboration
▸1. 400+ projects are in the process of developing the Shardeum ecosystem. This includes products that are live on Shardeum currently and that have agreed to support Shardeum and will soon be live on the Main Network.
▸2. To expand our ecosystem, Shardeum has partnered with AdLunam, Eucalyptus Labs, and BlazPay in December. Flipster, one of the world's fastest growing exchanges also partnered and co-hosted our#POCevent in Bangalore during India Blockchain Week.

▸1. Shardeum X Milkroad
In December, we launched our first partnership with Milkroad, a crypto-only newsletter with over 300,000 subscribers!
▸2. OKEx partnered with Shardeum for our Proof of Community — Backpacking India edition where we covered 47 cities across 25 states in India. With this partnership, OKEx has successfully onboarded more than 3000 new users in India!

We recently welcomed Chris Chabot as our Head of Open Source. With decades of experience building and leading product and developer teams, Chris previously served as Head of International Developer Relations at Twitter and held various developer-focused leadership roles at Google. He will be working on Shardeum's initiative to open source our code.
Additionally, we kicked off our holiday season with our final town hall of the year, where teams and leaders discussed progress, insights, and next steps forward!
