Billy Markus, who founded the first and now iconic cryptocurrency Dogecoin along with Jackson Palmer about 10 years ago, shared his first tweet of 2024 with his millions of followers on the Twitter/X social media platform.

This is an unexpected tweet about AI and New Year's resolutions, but it seems to be about things people might start doing in the new year with the help of AI.

“2024 AI New Year’s Resolutions”

Marcus, a frequent visitor to X and pen pal of its boss Elon Musk, not unlike Jackson Palmer, shared “his New Year’s resolutions” with his 2.1 million followers. Each action on the list is about mastering a new career or mastering something new, and all of these ballpoint pens have one common feature – artificial intelligence.

Thus, Markus tweeted that he intends to "learn to draw (through AI), learn to code (through AI), write novels (through AI), write musicals (through AI)", etc. Markus does not seem to be talking about himself, but predicting a trend that is likely to dominate many areas of people's activities this year - artificial intelligence. The most available so far is the ChatGPT chatbot created by OpenAI.

New Year's Resolutions for 2024:

[ ] Learn to draw (through artificial intelligence)
[ ] Learn to code (through artificial intelligence)
[ ] Learn How to Become a Lawyer (Through Artificial Intelligence)
[ ] Learn Data Science (through Artificial Intelligence)
[ ] Learn Accounting (through Artificial Intelligence)
[ ] Write a novel (via AI)
[ ] Write a script (via AI)
[ ] Write a musical (with AI)

Elon Musk, who contributed financially to the company’s creation in 2015 but subsequently quit due to serious disagreements with the management board, has now slammed the chatbot as “woke.”

Elon Musk's Grok vs OpenAI's ChatGPT

After initially making announcements about ChatGPT a year ago, Musk founded his own AI company in late 2023 and launched the Grok AI bot for Premium+ subscribers on X. Unlike ChatGPT, it does not refrain from answering "uncomfortable" questions on topics like politics, religion, sexuality, and other content that many people consider sensitive. Additionally, many have pointed out that, unlike its OpenAI competitor, Grok does have a sense of humor.

All you need to do to create content is ask a question and/or give the AI-based chatbot prompt, and the necessary content (or something close to it to varying degrees) will be generated. As Marcus pointed out in a reply to a comment under the tweet, this is how Marcus intends to follow through with his 2024 resolution.
