According to Blockworks, game studio Azra Games announced the completion of a $42.7 million Series A financing, led by Pantera Capital, with participation from a16z Crypto, a16z Games and NFX. The company focuses on developing mobile role-playing games.

Azra Games was founded by Mark Otero, who previously worked at Electronic Arts. The financing will accelerate the company's growth and its multiple projects in development, including its flagship game codenamed "Project Legends."

Hyve, a safety network in the Symbiotic ecosystem, announced today that it has raised $1.85 million in seed funding led by Lemniscap, with participation from Paper Ventures and Frachtis.

Blockstream completed $210 million in convertible note financing, led by Fulgur Ventures. Crypto derivatives exchange Bitnomial announced the completion of a $25 million Series C financing round, led by Ripple, and plans to launch a US perpetual futures trading platform.

Game startup PiP completed a $10 million seed round of financing, led by Exinity. Layer announced the completion of a $6 million seed round of financing, led by 1kx, with participation from Fabric Ventures and Arrington Capital.
