As Cointelegraph reports, as Telegram users increasingly engage with Web3, NFTs have seen significant growth on the platform. Web3 data provider Helika reports that NFT activity on Telegram surged 400% in the third quarter of 2024.

Helika’s “Telegram Gaming Report Q3 2024” shows that the number of unique wallets transferring NFTs daily increased from less than 200,000 in July to more than 1 million in September.

Helika noted that Telegram game players are very active, not only creating wallets, but also actively buying, sending and using NFTs, showing a dynamic level of interaction within the ecosystem. In September, 3 million active wallets were recorded across nine Telegram games.

In addition to NFT activity, Telegram gamers are also spending more time playing games. Helika reports that the average game time for users increased from 2.8 minutes in August to 6.7 minutes in early October. Helika attributes this growth to the more immersive experience provided by the platform.

Hamster Kombat is one of the most popular games on Telegram, with more than 300 million users since its launch. The game plans to integrate NFTs in the second season in November 2024, and launch new games and NFT assets in 2024 and 2025. On October 17, the game released a trailer for the second season, suggesting that players can simulate becoming a company CEO in the game.
