Dmitry Tokarev, CEO of digital asset custody company Copper, plans to step down as CEO and move into a founder role, CoinDesk reported. The company is interviewing candidates to replace him.

Last month, Copper executives Boris Bohrer-Bilowitzki and Mike Milner left to join blockchain company Concordium, with Bohrer-Bilowitzki becoming Concordium’s CEO and Milner becoming head of global revenue.

A spokesman for Copper said the company does not comment on market rumor or speculation. Tokarev will continue to be deeply involved in the company and remain a significant shareholder.
