According to Cointelegraph, OpenAI's paying users, including ChatGPT Enterprise, Team, and Edu, have grown by nearly 67% since April, exceeding one million as of September 5. OpenAI plans to launch high-priced subscription plans that could be as high as $2,000 per month.
According to Reuters, the number of users of OpenAI's business products has grown from 600,000 in April to one million. OpenAI's valuation could reach $100 billion, with Apple and Nvidia interested in investing, and Microsoft holding a 49% stake.
On August 29, OpenAI announced that ChatGPT had more than 200 million weekly active users, but annual sales were still lower than expected, at about $3.4 billion.
OpenAI supports California AB 3211 AI bill, which requires watermarks to be added to AI-generated photos, videos, and audio, but opposes SB 1047. On September 5, the United States, the European Union, and the United Kingdom signed the first legally binding AI treaty.
