8 reentrancy attacks since the beginning of 2024, with losses of approximately $30 million

According to Certik, there have been eight reentrancy attacks since the beginning of 2024, resulting in a combined loss of approximately $30 million, Foresight News reported.

Penpie was the largest reentrancy attack in 2024 and the third largest reentrancy attack since January 2021, behind Grim Finance (~$40 million, December 2021) and the Vyper breach (~$52 million, July 2023).
