According to Odaily Planet Daily, Sreeram Kannan, founder of EigenLayer, published an article on X predicting the development of the cryptocurrency industry in 2045: the value scale of DeFi will be larger than Wall Street, and the total value scale of other cryptocurrencies will be much larger than DeFi, just like the US economy is much larger than Wall Street.

Sreeram added that without a native on-chain economic system, DeFi will be more like "Singapore" that relies on an exogenous economic system, rather than "Wall Street" that relies on an endogenous economic system. The creation of a native on-chain economic system is very important, covering on-chain identity, metaverse, artificial intelligence, social, shared economy and other aspects.
