According to PANews, the Joint Virtual Asset Crime Investigation Team under the Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office in South Korea has begun investigating a police officer accused of taking bribes.
The officer allegedly received money and benefits from individuals related to the cryptocurrency cases he was responsible for supervising while working at the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul.
As part of the investigation, prosecutors raided the police station and collected evidence related to the allegations against the officer.
