According to Jinshi Data on August 20, lower energy prices continued to be the main reason for the year-on-year decline in German PPI in July. Energy prices fell by 4.1% year-on-year, with natural gas prices falling by 12.3% and electricity prices falling by 9.2%. Excluding energy, PPI rose by 0.9% year-on-year.
