According to PANews, the London High Court has issued a global asset freezing order targeting assets linked to the OneCoin fraud, including those of the infamous 'Crypto Queen' Ruja Ignatova. The case was initiated by over 400 victims of the OneCoin Ponzi scheme, leading to the freezing of assets belonging to Ignatova and OneCoin co-founders Sebastian Greenwood, Christopher Hamilton, and Robert MacDonald. Hamilton and MacDonald are alleged to have assisted in laundering money for the OneCoin scheme. Additionally, funds of four influencers who promoted the scheme and commercial entities used by Ignatova for money laundering and asset purchases have also been frozen.

OneCoin was launched in 2014, and Ignatova defrauded investors worldwide of $4 billion through the Ponzi scheme until its collapse in 2017, after which she disappeared. Ignatova was last seen in 2017, fleeing Bulgaria for Athens, Greece, and has since been listed among the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives.
