MicroStrategy is seeking to sell its Class A shares to raise up to $2 billion to purchase more Bitcoin and for general corporate purposes, Wu reported.
In a regulatory filing with the SEC, MicroStrategy did not disclose a timeline for the stock sales or how much of the proceeds would be used to buy Bitcoin.
MicroStrategy currently holds 226,500 Bitcoins, valued at over $14 billion.
