According to WuSay, the U.S. CFTC is investigating possible cryptocurrency fraud activities conducted by unknown individuals, which may involve 15 tokens including the meme coin BEN.
The agency issued a subpoena on July 16 to Hit Network, a cryptocurrency-focused media company that previously featured Ben Armstrong, nicknamed âBitBoy,â as its spokesperson.
The subpoena seeks information about trading activity and digital wallets for 15 tokens as part of an investigation into individuals engaged in digital currency fraud and related illegal conduct, the subpoena states.
