According to U.Today, Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano (ADA), has suggested that the upcoming Chang node upgrade could provoke reactions from critics of the blockchain ecosystem. Hoskinson made this implication in a post on X, responding to a comment by Cardano fund beneficiary elraulito (@ElRaulito_cnft).

Elraulito mentioned that during the 2024 Bitcoin Conference in Nashville, he asked an expert about Cardano's 'black sheep' reputation among blockchain projects. Hoskinson's response highlighted his perception of the broader crypto community's view of Cardano. He noted that throughout the development of the Cardano ecosystem, he has often been blamed for any issues that arise. Hoskinson remarked, "I guess I've lived long enough to get to the stage where apparently I'm the scapegoat for the ills of Cardano. What will you guys talk about after Chang?"

This comment has sparked debate among community members. Some believe Hoskinson is prepared for further criticism, while others think the anticipated Chang upgrade in August will silence his detractors. The Chang hard fork is seen as a significant update in Cardano's history, introducing an advanced governance system. Recently, Cardano Node 9.1.0 was released as part of the preparations for this upgrade.

The Chang hard fork marks the beginning of the Voltaire era for the Cardano network, aiming to unlock new potentials within the blockchain. According to the development team, this upgrade will lay the groundwork for decentralized decision-making processes, representing a revolutionary step for Cardano.
