According to Odaily Planet Daily, U.S. stocks fell across the board at the opening, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 0.53%, the S&P 500 down 0.95% and the Nasdaq down 1.48%.

Tesla (TSLA.O) fell 8.63% as its Q2 net profit fell short of expectations.

Alphabet (GOOG.O) fell 4.69%. Its Q2 results exceeded expectations but capital expenditures are expected to increase this year.
