According to ChainCatcher, the CV VC report shows that by the end of 2023, Africa's share of global blockchain venture capital transactions will rise from 1.2% to 1.3%.

However, Africa’s share of total blockchain venture capital investment falls from 1.6% to 1.3% in 2022.

The report shows that Africa received only $135.4 million from 17 blockchain deals, a 45% decrease in the number of deals and a 72% decrease in funding compared to the previous year.
