Huione Pay, a Cambodian payment company with ties to Cambodia’s ruling family, received more than $150,000 in cryptocurrency between June last year and February this year from wallets linked to North Korean hackers Lazarus, CoinDesk reported.

The cryptocurrencies were reportedly stolen by Lazarus hackers from three crypto companies in June and July last year. Huione Pay said in a statement that they were not aware that the funds were obtained indirectly from the hackers.

The National Bank of Cambodia said the company is not allowed to handle or trade cryptocurrencies and will not hesitate to take corrective measures against it. Huione Pay is also linked to Huione Guarantee, which has been accused of providing a platform for scam artists.
