According to TechFlow, CoinStats released its latest report on the security incident that occurred on June 22, showing that attackers obtained the private keys of 1,590 CoinStats wallets through unauthorized access, resulting in the theft of approximately $2.2 million in cryptocurrency.

No connected wallets or exchanges were impacted and as of July 3, 2024, all functionality of CoinStats has been fully restored and is now fully operational again. Investigations into the full scope of the breach are ongoing.

CoinStats CEO released an update on June 24, saying that a total of approximately $2 million was stolen from all wallets.
