According to Foresight News, Dan Romero, co-founder of the decentralized social media protocol Farcaster, announced that they have launched an in-app payment feature on the client Warpcast that supports the USDC stablecoin. This new feature allows users to use existing wallets to pay others with USDC without having to find or remember addresses, with almost instant confirmation and no fees. The feature initially supports only the Base chain, but support for other chains may be added in the future.
