According to Wu, Bitdeer has leased land for 30 years at the Hannibal Industrial Park, owned by the Monroe County Port Authority in Clarington, Ohio, USA. The industrial park was previously an aluminum processing plant, and the initial 266 megawatts of the total power capacity of 570 megawatts stipulated in the agreement are expected to be put into operation in the third quarter of 2025, and the remaining 304 megawatts are currently under review and will be formally included in the regional transmission planning process.
