According to TechFlow, South Korean game studio Seraph has invested more than US$10 million in development costs for the dark fantasy action role-playing game "Seraph: In the Darkness" launched on Arbitrum. Yezi, COO of Seraph, said that their project was initially self-funded and independently developed, and it was only recently that the first round of external financing began. He emphasized that Web3 blockchain games have significant advantages over Web2 games and encourage co-creation and promotion among players.

Yezi believes that GameFi needs to have newer projects that provide players with a better gaming experience while providing high-quality token economics. Seraph: In the Darkness recently launched its pre-season, with more than 60,000 players participating, more than 30,000 of whom have advanced game characters, and more than 10,000 users have made purchases. During the testing phase, the game achieved $3 million in fiat currency revenue and allocated more than $1 million for token buybacks.

Seraph Studio currently has no plans to launch other games, but their internally developed custodial wallet ActPass will become a game asset distribution platform, and plans to launch more high-quality games through investment or cooperation.
