Türkiye's largest cryptocurrency exchange BtcTurk was attacked by a cyber attack, and some hot wallet balances were affected

According to Wu, BtcTurk, one of Turkey's largest cryptocurrency exchanges, was attacked by a cyberattack on June 22, 2024, resulting in the suspension of cryptocurrency deposits and withdrawals. Officials said that some balances in the hot wallets of 10 cryptocurrencies were affected by the cyberattack, but the cold wallets that hold most of the assets are safe and user assets will not be affected by these losses.
