According to Odaily Planet Daily, Ripple is planning to expand its blockchain platform business to Georgia. Ripple's CBDC consultant Antony Welfare recently stated that Ripple's vice president James Wallis and Alistair Brown, a representative of Ripple's partner EPAM Systems, have been communicating with the National Bank of Georgia (NBG). The focus of their discussion is to "explore potential ways to cooperate in the digitalization of Georgia's economy."
