According to TechFlow, brothers Anton Peraire-Bueno and James Peraire-Bueno have been charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud, wire fraud, and conspiracy to launder money. They are accused of exploiting a vulnerability in the Ethereum blockchain to fraudulently obtain approximately $25 million worth of cryptocurrency in just about 12 seconds. Currently, the two have been arrested and will be tried before judges in Boston, Massachusetts and New York.
