Managing new stakes with the BNB Stake dApp

Simplify your staking management with the BNB Staking dApp. This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough of using the dApp on both testnet and mainnet.

  • Testnet: https://testnet-stake.bnbchain.org/en/bnb-stake

  • Mainnet: https://www.bnbchain.org/en/bnb-stakeing

Connect your wallet

To interact with the dApp, first connect your web3 wallet. Currently, TrustWallet (mainnet only) and MetaMask as well as WalletConnect.

  2. Click the Delegate button to initiate a new delegation.

  1. Enter the amount of BNB you would like to delegate.

  1. Once the delegation is confirmed, your connected wallet will prompt you to sign the transaction. Successful transactions will be visible in the My Staking page, along with the transaction hash.

Re-delegation of shares

From the My Staking page, you can manage your current delegations.

  • Click Redelegate to transfer your stake to another validator.

NOTE: A 0.002% re-delegation fee applies to discourage frequent switching between validators.

After the unbinding period, you can claim your shares by clicking a button.

Which wallet can be used to delegate to a new validator?

Currently, MetaMask and (mainnet only) and TrustWalletWalletConnect are supported.

As a validator operator, after creating a new validator on BSC, should I keep the original validator?

It is recommended to keep both validators for a while to allow for a smooth migration. It is best to ask your delegators to migrate their stake to the new validator. After your new validator is elected to the cabinet or candidate, you can safely retire the old validator.

If my BNB is delegated via the BSC smart contract, how should I migrate my delegation?

Please refer to the Stake Migration Guide for BEP153 Delegation.
