According to Blockworks, New York painter Nina Chanel Abney recently launched a series of digital avatars inspired by CryptoPunks. This blue-chip NFT series uses 3D technology to reimagine Abney's art viewing experience through the perspective of Punk. However, after the video of this series caused a sensation online, Greg Solano, CEO of Yuga Labs, the owner of CryptoPunks intellectual property, backtracked on the broader "Punk in Residence" plan, which made Abney's cooperation with CryptoPunks possible. Solano promised on the X platform that "Yuga will no longer touch punks." Yuga's attempt to apply CryptoPunks' intellectual property to its PFP series beyond its PFP series is in line with Pudgy Penguins' strategy to expand the scope of NFT applications. Abney's CryptoPunks series exhibition will be on display at Kinderhook, New York until October 5. In addition, Kabosu, the Shiba Inu that inspired Dogecoin, died on Friday morning, the owner announced on Instagram.
