According to PANews, on May 22, Microsoft released more than 50 updates at the Build 2024 Developer Conference held in Seattle, USA, covering everything from the construction of AI infrastructure to the implementation of model products. These include Team Copilot, which transforms personal intelligent assistants into team assistants; Microsoft Fabric, which provides SaaS solutions for real-time intelligence; Azure AI, which brings new cutting-edge models and multimodal capabilities; and Cobalt chips, updates to self-developed AI chips.

In his opening speech, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella mentioned Microsoft's two dreams for computers: "One is to let computers understand us, rather than us understanding computers; the other is to let computers help us reason, plan and act effectively based on information in a world where information is increasing."

OpenAI CEO Altman revealed OpenAI's new model at the press conference, saying that new modalities and overall intelligence will be the key to OpenAI's next model. He said that the model will become smarter, more powerful, and safer, and GPT-4o will be faster and cheaper. Altman emphasized that now is the time for developers to take advantage of it, indicating that many new things will emerge in the next few years.
