Reuters poll: Most economists predict Bank of England will cut interest rates by 25 basis points in August

According to Jinshi, a recent Reuters survey showed that 38 of 71 economists predicted that the Bank of England would cut interest rates by 25 basis points to 5.00% in August. In addition, 31 people believed that the central bank would cut interest rates in June, and 2 predicted a rate cut in September.
