According to Odaily Planet Daily, Jack Dorsey's Block (formerly Square) has completed the development of a 3-nanometer Bitcoin mining chip. Since April 2023, Block has been following up on the development of the chip and has worked with a world-renowned chip foundry to complete the design of the chip. Subsequently, Block will provide Bitcoin miners with independent mining chips and complete mining systems. It is worth mentioning that Block announced in May 2023 that it had completed the development of a 5-nanometer Bitcoin mining chip prototype, using the same technology as Bitmain's S21 mining machine.
