According to Odaily Planet Daily, Input Output Global (IOG) portfolio company RFLXT announced the launch of its first Web3 game Voyager: Ascension on GalaChain. Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson is the co-founder and CEO of IOG. He said he is a member of the company's board of directors and RFLXT is a "spin-off company" from IOG.
A key strategy for RFLXT is to approach developers of older PC games and help “introduce them to the Web3 world.” That’s how Voyager: Ascension came about.
As for why they chose GalaChain instead of Cardano to launch the game, RFLXT said: “Helping to increase the presence and awareness of games built on Cardano is our main focus, but it is also important for us to work with a variety of chains and platforms as we hope to advance the development of the entire field in a new way.”
The team also confirmed that they are “working with Cardano Games” for the RFLXT platform. “Our ultimate goal is to have our games distributed in different places, across platforms and chains through special integrations with Digital Doubles and other RFLXT portal features,” RFLXT said.
