On April 20, the Dogecoin community around the world is celebrating DOGE Day (also known as Marijuana Day), U.Today reported. This year's DOGE Day comes right after the fourth Bitcoin halving event. However, the biggest and most influential Dogecoin fan, Elon Musk, has not posted anything about the day so far. Instead, he spread another reason why the day is important to him. Elon Musk retweeted a tweet posted by the "DogeDesigner" (@cb_doge) X user, who is a member of the DOGE and X team. The celebratory tweet states that on April 20, 2023, Starship was launched for the first time by Elon Musk's SpaceX. Later, Starship launched on November 18 of the same year and March 14, 2024. This year, the original Meme coin Dogecoin soared to a high of $0.2201 on March 29 and returned to this level again on April 1. The rise in DOGE's price was driven by the world's leading cryptocurrency Bitcoin hitting a new all-time high of $73,750 on March 14. As of this writing, Dogecoin is trading at $0.1519, according to CoinMarketCap.
