According to BlockBeats, Mike Schmidt, co-founder of Bitcoin non-profit organization Brink, said that the FBI issued a subpoena requesting the personal information of attendees of the 2022 Bitcoin Core Developer Event. The move is related to Bitcoin developer Luke Dashjr claiming that he had about 216 BTC stolen in a hacker attack.

Mike has provided the FBI with the first and last names of attendees, GitHub usernames, and email addresses. He said he does not know any details about the investigation and does not know whether the subpoena is for a targeted suspect or general information collected during the investigation.

Luke Dashjr claimed that he lost more than 200 BTC due to the Pretty Good Privacy (PGP) key leak on December 31, 2022, which was estimated at about $3.3 million at the time. At current market value, 200 BTC is worth more than $14 million.
