According to Foresight News, the AI company Prem Labs, co-founded by Simone Giacomelli, co-founder of the decentralized AI platform SingularityNET, has completed a $14 million seed round of financing. Investors include Marvel Studios founder David Maisel, Sequoia Capital China co-founder Fan Zhang, Incubeta founder Alan Lipschitz, etc. David Maisel was appointed as a member of the Prem Labs advisory board.
Prem is committed to democratizing the creation of AI models, enabling businesses and individuals to train, deploy and own their own AI models. According to Linkedin, Simone Giacomelli served as co-founder of SingularityNET from June 2017 to June 2019.
