According to U.Today, the Solana network continues to be congested due to a large number of failed transactions, and the organization has called on community members to be patient as developers and core contributors are working tirelessly to solve underlying problems and strengthen network infrastructure. Austin Federa, strategist at the Solana Foundation, said that teams such as Anza, Firedancer, and Jito are investing a lot of effort to strengthen Solana's network stack. Despite constant speculation about the cause of the congestion, Federa said that the root cause of the extreme bottleneck is the limitations of the QUIC protocol implementation used by the Agave validator client. He said that although the congestion problem has been identified and included in the improvement plan, the demand for Solana has grown rapidly, exceeding expectations, making the shortcomings of the existing system worse in a short period of time. Despite the current challenges, Federa said that core protocol developers are still committed to implementing and testing improvements to the network stack. He expressed confidence in the collaborative efforts of developers and users, who have a common vision for Solana's future. However, some market analysts and developers have accused Solana of not being proactive enough about its network, and many have foreseen the occurrence of congestion problems. Andre Cronje, a core developer of Fantom, described the congestion problem as Solana becoming a victim of its own success.
