According to Decrypt, Forj, an NFT creator platform under Animoca Brands, announced on Tuesday the launch of Ape Accelerator (ApeCoin Community Accelerator), a community-led accelerator and Launchpad funded by ApeCoin DAO.
Forj CEO Harry Liu said that ApeCoin was chosen because "it has the most collaborative and socially engaged community in Web3." The idea is to drive greater adoption of the Bored Ape Yacht Club themed token, leveraging the hundreds of projects currently active in its community and addressing the main pain points of the bear market. The focus is not on early projects, but on those that are already running.
