Foresight News: VR design and collaboration platform ShapesXR has announced the completion of an $8.6 million seed funding round. Participating investors include Supernode Global, Triptyq VC, Hartmann Capital, Geek Ventures, and Web3 venture firm Boost VC. The new funds will be used to optimize technology to adapt to Apple's newly released metaverse headset device, Vision Pro.
ShapesXR technology allows users to build content and models in the metaverse as easily as creating a PowerPoint presentation. Users can either use ShapesXR templates or create their own content from scratch. The number of downloads for ShapesXR in the Meta Quest app store has exceeded 350,000.
