According to Foresight News, multi-signature wallet MPCVault completed a US$3 million seed round of financing in March last year. Participants included Fenbushi Capital, Tess Ventures, and Youbi Capital. Individual investors included Chen Yizhou, founder of Renren, and former CEO of Meituan. Financial Officer Ye Shuhong. MPCVault is a non-custodial multi-signature wallet that uses multi-party computing technology to provide a transaction approval scheme, which means users cannot directly obtain the complete private key and can set policies to require multiple signatures before a transaction goes through. MPCVault’s wallet solution comes with a security layer that scans phishing URLs, detects suspicious behavior, checks interactive addresses, and performs semantic analysis and transaction simulations to help users understand what transactions they are actually signing.
