The company disclosed this purchase on January 6, stating that it spent approximately $101 million in cash during the period from December 30 to 31, 2024.
According to documents submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the average price of this acquisition was approximately $94,004 per Bitcoin.
According to the current 8-K form filing, MicroStrategy has not made additional Bitcoin purchases since December 31.

Following the latest acquisition, MicroStrategy holds 447,470 BTC, with an acquisition price of approximately $27.97 billion as of January 5, or $62,503 per BTC. This amount represents 2.1% of all mined Bitcoin.
Similar to previous MicroStrategy Bitcoin purchases, the latest acquisition was made using proceeds from the sale of stocks issued under a convertible note sale agreement.
