Here is my opinion: Don't hesitate, keep pushing forward.
Next, let's analyze the reasons why AI agents still have tenfold potential:
1. Unlike the 'pure expectation + community FOMO' of memes, agents will continuously iterate, producing increasingly powerful offerings.
2. The summer of AI agents has greatly differed from previous expectations and deployment speeds.
Whether it's the trillion-dollar industry prospects of web2 AI or the on-chain integration of web3 AI, there is enormous potential. Currently, the entire AI market cap in the crypto space is only $10 billion, which is far from the hundreds of billions of leading protocols during the DeFi summer or the nested structures during the NFT summer, and even the GameFi period where running cured my depression and AXS beat Honor of Kings have yet to appear.
The key point is that more and more powerful agents will emerge.
For example, Aixbt, a newly launched agent that analyzes crypto opportunities 24/7, has already outperformed the top KOLs in the crypto space in terms of user mindshare, and I believe this trend will only accelerate, not decelerate.
Currently, various AI Agents are emerging, definitely a 'bewildering array of flowers.' As an ordinary person entering this new field filled with opportunities and traps, how should one choose? Here are some personal on-chain investment logic to share:
1) I've seen many people almost liquidate all their mainstream coins on CEX and go all in on the AI Agent on-chain sector. While this shows confidence in the new trend, it is not advisable.
Because during the pure AI MEME phase, the on-chain AI narrative field can still exist due to the 'prejudice' of some mainstream groups creating information asymmetry, but now in the AI infrastructure phase, the 'information asymmetry' has been severely diluted. A large number of geek developers are building, and many tech-savvy researchers, even many VC firms, have focused their attention on the new narrative of AI Agents.
This means that the period of mindless investment, where you can win by just following the trend, no longer exists. The risks and opportunities of on-chain investment coexist at least, and the risk index of going all in on AI narratives will be very high, to the extent that it may even exceed the end of the chaotic epoch, entering the early stable epoch. The correct approach is to gradually transfer positions on-chain, avoiding reckless Show hand.
2) The suggested on-chain position layout is 5 + 4 + 1:
For large positions, choose consensus projects that have already emerged, like ai16z, ZEREBRO, $AIXBT, $GOAT, Virtual, just as DeFi Summer put heavy bets on MKR, COMP, UNI, LINK, etc.
While this approach may lead to short-term opportunity costs from the fluctuations of other small coins, looking at it over a longer period, it is definitely a safer strategy to stay at the table (seeking stability).
For medium positions, consider projects like $arc, $REI, $Focai, $ELIZA, $Swarms, $SPORE, $SNAI, $ALCH, $NEUR, which are still in the chaotic phase of technical framework standards and innovative models.
If further subdivided, the broad framework standards are > Innovative Agent Applications > Individual AI > Vertical platform services. The core logic is that the ceiling of framework standards will definitely be the highest, individual AI will be limited by imaginative space, and innovative applications will have considerable uncertainties (seeking growth).
Small positions trying to chase various flying CA small projects may initially seem appealing, but they are projects with significant market fluctuations that you don’t have time to research, such as $MetaV, $stoic, $SYMX, $TAOCAT, $ZAILGO, $POLY, etc. There will be many similar projects in the early stages, but they will also include the most mixed cases. (We need to be cautious in distinguishing them).
From the perspective of the crypto space, attention is wealth, and the snowball effect of AI agents' attention will continue to grow, getting bigger and faster. Just keep going in the current direction and improve.
