Foresight News reported that Simon Gerovich, CEO of the Japanese listed company Metaplanet, stated that his goal is to increase the company's Bitcoin holdings to 10,000 this year and to expand Metaplanet's influence in Japan and the Bitcoin ecosystem.
Foresight News noted that Metaplanet's total Bitcoin holdings currently amount to 1,761.98 BTC, valued at approximately $167 million.
