In October 2024, the amount of ETH locked in liquid staking platforms surpassed 14 million, but currently, the total amount of ETH held by these protocols has fallen below the record level of the end of November (13.85 million ETH).
As of January 5, 2025, approximately 13.78 million ETH remain locked in liquid staking platforms, a decrease of 70,000 since the end of November. Among them, Lido dominates with a share of 69.96% (holding 9.64 million staked ETH, valued at 34.9 billion USD).
However, the staked ETH on Lido has decreased by 160,000 since November 30, 2024, when 9.8 million ETH were staked. Meanwhile, Binance's liquid staking platform has added 150,000 ETH in the past 36 days; Rocket Pool has experienced ongoing outflows, losing 479,374 ETH from October 29 to the end of November, and has decreased by another 7,743 ETH in the past 36 days.
