PEPE 2025 Outlook: Whale Interest Low, But Still Has Upside Potential!

PEPE has rebounded from its historical low, with an increase of up to 4,300%, a performance that suggests there may still be some upside potential in the next bull market. However, if we refer to the gains of Dogecoin (DOGE), PEPE's potential may still be limited. DOGE increased by over 13,000% between 2020 and 2021, making PEPE's upward space appear even more constrained.

Recently, PEPE rebounded to key Fibonacci levels (0.5 and 0.618), but compared to December's peak, the price of PEPE has still fallen by about 27%, currently reported at $0.00002028.

Despite the selling pressure in December, PEPE successfully held onto a significant portion of the gains from November, indicating that some investors are optimistic about 2025. In mid-November, the number of addresses of long-term holders reached 91,210, followed by a decline, suggesting that some HODLers have taken profits. However, by January 3, 2025, this number rebounded to 91,490.

Moreover, since December 12, the number of short-term traders has significantly increased, from 188,650 addresses to 225,950, which may have contributed to the rebound in PEPE's price. At the same time, the number of short-term traders has decreased from 82,060 on December 10 to 61,450, indicating a change in the market's long-term trend.

Whale Selling Pressure

However, whale investors remain focused on short-term profits. On January 2, net inflows from whales reached 377.4 billion PEPE, indicating they are selling. In the short term, this selling pressure may limit PEPE's upside potential.

Nevertheless, PEPE still has significant upside potential in the coming months, provided that whale and institutional activities are favorable to it.
