44,623,604,014 SHIB Burned in 2024, Yearly Report Shows:

According to a yearly report from Shibburn, a popular SHIB burn tracker, a staggering 44,623,604,014 SHIB tokens were removed from circulation in 2024. This significant burn effort is valued at approximately $928,170. Both the SHIB community and developers have been working diligently to decrease the token's supply, aiming to enhance its scarcity and potentially increase its value.

The report also notes that in December alone, 2,679,767,542 SHIB tokens were sent to "dead-end" blockchain wallets, further lowering the circulating supply. While some community members have raised concerns about the pace of the burn, others remain optimistic about the progress achieved.

It's important to mention that SHIB's price has seen considerable volatility, with a recent nearly 10% surge following Bitcoin's price jump. However, the token's price is still subject to market fluctuations, and its future remains uncertain.
